đŸ”č Good to know: Access to the terrace is via a 284-step staircase only. However, an elevator is available for people with reduced mobility, enabling them to access the last landing before the terrace.

The Arc de Triomphe is located at the center of a huge traffic circle where 12 major Parisian avenues converge. To access it, it’s imperative to use the underground passageway that connects the outer sidewalks to the base of the monument. Never attempt to cross the square on foot!
